An Afternoon of Strings and Things

The Music at Lindenwood concert series presents its final concert of the current season, Sunday, May 20 at 4pm. "An Afternoon of Strings and Things" features the Lindenwood Chancel Choir, Soloists, Organist-Conductor Chris Nemec, the Memphis Repertory Orchestra, and William R. Langley, Founder and Conductor.

The program includes Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus", Franz Schubert's delightful Mass No. 2 in G and Francis Poulenc's fiery and dramatic Concerto in g minor for Organ, Strings, and Timpani. This concert closes out the year-long 50+1 anniversary of the Golightly Memorial Pipe Organ, and kicks off the 175th anniversary celebration of Lindenwood Christian Church - one of Memphis' oldest congregations!
